Claudia Märzendorfer, 2015


Claudia Märzendorfer’s artistic activities comprise projects eluding common expectations of art as a concrete product. Driven by an anarchistic understanding of the world, she produces installations made of dust particles or shapes ice sculptures and playable ice records that evaporate over time. Her works are about a shift of “normal circumstances” and about implementing paradox ideas, for example in the case of the knitted (re)construction of a truck’s spare parts.
