How does the ball see the game?
Exploring new fields of view from the ball's perspective are the project's impetus.
The video taping of the centrifugal ball movements, originating from headball played on the ground, constitutes the input for the composition of sound and pictures.
The video follows the ball's movements and is rhythmically cut, regarding speed changes only.
The basis for the music composition is built by a cluster of 8 tones. By layering the sound material a structured micro-polymorph texture is being woven. From these drones the sound of the two "solo instruments" (monochords) emerges, whose acoustic colors are electronically processed live.
The live performence (ballcam) takes place simultaneously to the video projection.
